Strength in Diversity

I have recently had the opportunity to spend more time with two people in the sector that I admire very much.   I am spending a certain amount of time at Charity Bank these days and am working with Malcolm Hayday, its Chief Executive.  And I was very please to be one the last two panelists standing (or sitting!) with Rod Schwarz of Clearly So at a recent Westminster Briefing session.
It occurred to me that the two sit at completely opposite ends of the social finance spectrum. Yet both, in their own way, are independent, passionate and committed to the positive use of capital.  Between them, they are a carrying out a pincer movement on the world of mainstream capital - outflanking it from both the left and the right.  And this is one of the growing strengths of our sector.
Long may it continue!

Investing for Good does a wonderful job of oiling the wheels of the social investment industry.
