What We Do

investments that inspire

Investing for Good is a social finance intermediary. We play a key role in enabling the growth and development of the social investment market.

  • The Social Bond Programme. This is a tailored programme for charities and social enterprises looking to raise unsecured and unrestricted capital by issuing a Social Bond. A Social Bond is a simple investment product whose defining feature is the explicit intention to generate measurable social impact alongside the financial return. Investors in the programme include private banks, wealth managers, corporate investors, local authorities, foundations, high net worth individuals and advisers.

  • Investment Readiness. We are also an approved provider to the Investment and Contract Readiness Fund (ICRF). We specialise in investment readiness support for charities and social enterprises looking to issue a social bond and can help with all aspects of getting your organisation 'investment ready' including help navigating each stage of the bond issuance process.

  • Publications. We have published The Good Analyst, a book detailing our proprietary Methodology for Impact Analysis and Assessment.  We also published The Good Investorwhich sets out current best practice for impact investors specifically in relation to impact.  The work was commissioned by Big Society Capital and is based on a series of interviews with a group of UK social investors. It incorporates a wide range of existing research, with the aim of drawing together the best, best known, and most compatible strategies. Our affiliate company, The Good Analyst Ltd, focuses on putting these publications to practical use through a range of consultancy services for socially motivated investors and business.

"Investing for Good's research and market access has really opened up this asset class for our clients."
