Investing for Good was founded in 2004 on the basis of a simple insight: that the positive use of money can change the world. Our mission is to mobilise investment capital to tackle major social issues.

We have a vision for a financial system that enables investors to make investments that reconnect money to social value. Our goal is to create a sustainable social investment market where, on one hand, investors can incorporate social impact into their investment decisions and, on the other hand, charities and social enterprises can access sophisticated non-grant forms of finance.

As a key player in the development of the social investment market, we are inspired by the possibility of a new class of investments that can mobilise the power of finance to drive social good. 

As a result, we have developed our unique Social Bond Programme that allows charities and social enterprises to raise unrestricted investment capital from the debt capital markets. It also provides socially motivated investors the opportunity to invest in these charities and social enterprises through a recognisable investment product that generates social impact alongside a financial return.
